MawaqeetالعربيةThese terms apply to the Mawaqeet app and the website mawaqeet.app. By using them, you agree to these terms. They add to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which also applies to the app.
Using Mawaqeet
Mawaqeet is free for personal use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app, its sounds or its design, or try to reverse-engineer it.
Prayer times are calculations
Prayer times, the Qibla direction, the Hijri date and the times of Imsak, sunrise and the rest are calculated from your location, the calculation method you choose and standard astronomical formulas. They can differ from your local mosque or authority, and by a few minutes from other calculations. Please check with your local mosque when it matters, and adjust the method or minutes in Settings to match.
Notifications
Reminders depend on your iPhone's settings (notifications, Focus, sound and battery). We can't guarantee every reminder arrives or plays.
Tips and monthly support
Tips and monthly support are optional and unlock no features. Monthly support only adds a Supporter mark in Settings → About; Mawaqeet is the same for everyone. Monthly support is an auto-renewing subscription: it renews each month at the price shown until you cancel it, at least 24 hours before the renewal, in your Apple Account's subscriptions (or Settings → Support Mawaqeet → Manage Subscription). Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Sounds and credits
The prayer tones are recordings of real instruments released into the public domain (CC0). The optional adhan recordings are used with credit to their muezzins, named in the app.
No warranty
Mawaqeet is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from its use, including missed or inaccurate times.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use Mawaqeet means you accept the update.
